Their emotional service was held at St. Mary’s, which was extra special given that the delivering vicar was a family member.
Following a handful of group shots and some relaxed couple portraits, we headed around the corner to the village hall for the reception.
These guys had a super relaxed vibe throughout their reception, whilst the absolute highlight was the ceili, which got everybody on the dancefloor!
Whilst the band took a quick break, I sneaked these guys outside for some night time portraits.

Paige and Harrison held their special day at Winters Barn, based on the outskirts of Canterbury.
These guys held the most emotional service in the main barn, and despite being late November, the sun was beaming for some relaxed group shots and couple portraits around the stunning grounds of the venue.
Following the wedding breakfast, Harrison, his best men and Paige’s dad did a trio of amazing speeches, which was full of laughter, tears and emotion. The biggest surprise was to follow with two of the waiters bursting into song, getting everyone up on their feet, especially Harrison who did his own version of the Dirty Dancing lift!
As the evening rolled in and the dancefloor started to get packed, I sneaked these two off for some night time portraits.

“We had a great experience with Matt. He helped keep everything stress and hassle free for us in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. He was a great person to have around on the day and did a great job of fading into the background and keeping everyone comfortable. The personal touches of remembering my grandparents names was really notable on the day. The photos we received were amazing - with lots of people commenting that there were too many great ones to choose from that they had to buy more frames! We have recommended Matt to all of our friends and one guest has already booked him for their upcoming wedding.”

Unbeknown to Sam and Andy, their closest friends at a special surprise planned for the first dance. When the DJ changed the tempo mid-song, they rushed to the dance floor in full 90s rave attire (with bucket hats ready for the bride and groom).
Following this, a sparkler exit finished the coverage of this awesome day.

This was truly a stunning day; being literally a few footsteps away from the beach, there was a gentle sea breeze and despite the cloudless sky. there was a slight haziness to the light throughout the day.

Following the arrival of their little girl, it meant delaying the wedding for a further 12 months, but it was well worth the wait!
The day started with bridal prep at Emily’s mum’s house in Deal, which was full of energy, particularly with their little one running around (and refusing a pre-wedding nap). Following a short drive - in style via a vintage Bentley - Emily arrived at the Cider Works for an outdoor service. Following the service, the weather started to improve, and everyone moved onto the nearby village of Petham for a reception in the village hall. The groomsmen chucked aprons on and served up a quality BBQ, and shortly after, the rain breaking, I took these guys off for some relaxed photos in a nearby meadow.

Adam and Rosie’s wedding was one of the most relaxed and fun weddings I’ve captured so far! These guys held their special day at The Dreys, a woodland venue situated between Canterbury and Maidstone.
Firstly, this venue has to be one of my favourite places to photograph! It is unique, rustic and absolutely beautiful, and was perfect for the occasion.
Despite rain drops falling when I arrived, the clouds cleared just in time for an outside ceremony nestled amongst the trees. Following this, guests enjoyed the grounds and a number of outdoor games.
The fun continued, with the Wedding Chaps ensuring the wedding breakfast was far from the norm with a number of planned games. These guys also did a cracking job at keeping the dancefloor busy before everyone went out to enjoy the fireworks.

“We had Matt do our photographs for our wedding in June 2023. We chose him specifically due to the fact he was local, friendly and not posey with his photos. My husband and I do not enjoy photos being taken of ourselves so it was extremely important our photographer understood this and was able to almost stay hidden. Matt did an excellent job of staying hidden whilst also getting the most beautiful photos. Our family and the venue were really impressed with him and we recommend him to anyone needing a photographer. Thank you Matt for making one aspect of our wedding flawless!”

“Can not recommend Matt enough!!!
Our wedding was pretty much planed in a few months, with venue changes on the way... Matt was so helpful and understanding and really made us feel more relaxed during that time! It also helps that his communication is 10/10 !!
Being pretty laid back due to being 7.5 months pregnant, Matt really helped us structure our day. Without him the day would’ve looked a bit different! Matt is also a true professional, with a lot of knowledge and expertise, I’m in awe of his skills, the photos are truly STUNNING! Our family and friends did not stop mentioning his attention to detail and his clear passion for his work.
I was really worried due to feeling a little bit larger with the baby being on board that I would feel frumpy and not very photogenic, however I look back at these pictures and feel the complete opposite.
Matt, the day didn’t feel real until you captured these moments for us. Forever grateful. Jack and I wish you many more successful years in the industry ! You are a star.”

“We can’t say enough good things about Matt!
We did a pre wedding shoot before the big day which was a great way to get to know each other, and help us to get comfortable in front of the camera.
Matt is the nicest guy and so easy to get along with, which really helped with keeping us nice and relaxed. He was professional when directing our wedding guests for the group shots, then seemed to blend into the background for the rest of the day to get loads of amazing candid photos.
We were at a loss for words looking through our photos, Matt captured the day so perfectly. We knew he would deliver, but they were better than we could have imagined. He was the perfect choice of photographer for our special day. We received so many compliments on the photos from the friends and family that we shared them with; my future sister-in-law has already booked him for her wedding!
I still look through the photos so often and can’t believe how wonderful they are, they bring such a smile to my face. Having photographed weddings myself, my expectations were very high, but Matt exceeded them by far! Couldn’t recommend him enough”
