Kiran and Jessie celebrated their beautiful wedding day at the picturesque Swarling Manor in Petham, just outside Canterbury.
Although they had legally tied the knot a few weeks earlier, the couple had originally planned a hybrid Hindu-civil ceremony at a different venue that held sentimental value. However, just weeks before the big day, that venue unexpectedly closed. Amazingly, they managed to rearrange everything and bring their vision to life at the stunning Swarling Manor — and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly.
The weather was incredible, with soft late-summer sunshine casting a golden glow over the gardens. Their ceremony, led by a Hindu priest, seamlessly blended tradition and modern elements, creating a heartfelt and personal experience.
After the emotional service, guests mingled in the gardens while I stole a few quiet moments with Kiran and Jessie for some relaxed portraits among the trees and flowers.
As the evening unfolded and the wedding breakfast began, we were treated to a flawless golden hour — the dream lighting for more portraits, so I whisked them outside for a few more natural shots.
Later, the speeches kicked off with a mix of touching words and laugh-out-loud moments, especially from Kiran’s groomsmen. With the formalities over, the dance floor filled, and the celebration carried on late into the night.
